“I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me.”
Mission:M25 is a national ministry to the overlooked, lost, and
hurting in today’s society. We primarily target four ministry areas:
● Native Americans
In the South Carolina Conference, Mission:M25 is active in the following:
Sidewalk Sunday School
Two churches are currently active in Sidewalk Sunday School ministry. This outreach goes into the most impoverished and dangerous neighborhoods in the community to reach families with the Gospel.
Wreaths Across America
Each December, M25 helps to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice by laying wreaths on gravesites at the Florence National Cemetery.
This camp began over 25 years ago in Amarillo, TX and has spread around the U.S. and into Mexico and the Philippines. The goal of Free Camp is to break down racial, social, and economic barriers through a totally free camp experience. We focus on team building activities, worship, and showing kids the life-changing love of Christ. Currently, there are two camps in the S.C. Conference, with plans to add a third this year.
Battle Cry & Knights Training
Battle Cry is a movement birthed out of the South Carolina
Conference by Pastor Cory Jones, National M25 Board Member Angel
Alba, and M25 National Director Gary Burd. The heart of Battle Cry
is to challenge men to step UP to a new level of selfless and
sacrificial love and step OUT to serve people outside their comfort
zone in order to earn the right to plant the seed of God’s love in
all soils (Mark 4). Knights Training is an intensive weekend
training that teaches
the biblical definition of manhood and trains men for kingdom warfare.
Community Outreach Meals
Food is one of the simplest ways to unite a community. Through these outreach events, we provide free meals in a public location to anyone who wishes to eat. Community meals help combat hunger and food insecurity in at-risk communities while also promoting unity and showing Gospel-centered love in action.
To get involved in any of these outreach opportunities, or to learn more about Mission:M25, contact Angel Alba at firstname.lastname@example.org or (405) 821-9098.
