Morris Smith, serves as the South Carolina Conference Superintendent . Morris Smith holds an Associate’s Degree in Religion from William Carter Bible College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Holmes Bible College, and a Masters of Ministry Degree from Southwestern Christian University.

Rev. Smith has served as Senior Pastor of 21 years for three South Carolina Conference churches, Northside Worship Center (1989-1994), Coward PH Church (1994-1997) and Little Star PH Church (1997-2010).

He and his wife Lynn of 34 years have two children, Jessica (Jay) Teal and Brooke (Trey) Poston. They have one granddaughter, Julia Teal , and four grandsons, James Teal ,Jayce Teal , Jack Poston and Bennett Poston .

Jimmy was elected as Assistant Superintendent of the South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church on May 20, 2023. He has previously served on the Conference Discipleship Ministries Board, Conference World Missions Board, as District Elder, as a council member on the Conference Executive Council, and as Assistant Superintendent in the past. His present position also includes the portfolios of Conference World Missions Director, Conference Evangelism Director, Church Planting/ Revitalization Director. Jimmy, an ordained minister, has a Master of Ministry degree from Southwestern Christian University with concentration in Leadership. He served as Senior Pastor for over 40 years in 6 of our South Carolina Churches as well as 4 years in an Oklahoma Church. Jimmy and wife Tame’ have been married 49 years. They have 2 daughters and 11 grandchildren. Son, Trey was killed in auto accident last year.

Rev. Phyllis Underwood is currently the Secretary/Treasurer and CFO for the South Carolina Conference of the IPHC. She has been the Senior Pastor of Life Center Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kingstree, SC for 13 years, which was a new church plant for the SC Conference of the IPHC. She also serves as the Secretary for the Finance Committee for the IPHC and serves also on the Compensation Committee for the IPHC. She also has served as Missions Director with the Johnsonville District for the SC Conference of the IPHC. She served as an associate minister in the South Carolina Conference for nine years, has written bible studies, spoken at Women’s conferences throughout South Carolina for various denominations and served as Women’s Ministry Director in a local church for eight years.

Prior to her becoming full-time in ministry, she was the Controller for a local government in South Carolina for six years, Budget Director for another local government for 7 years. She has served on various committees and boards throughout her secular career and was the Chairman of the National Day of Prayer Committee for Williamsburg County, SC for 9 years. She was a Finance Director for various companies in the upstate for 17 years prior to her and her husband moving to this area.

She along with her husband of 49 years, Eddie Underwood, are natives of Greer, South Carolina. They have two sons. Brent lives in Greer, SC with his wife and 3 children and 3 grandchildren, Bryan lives in Kingstree, SC with his wife and 3 children and are associated with the church ministry at Life Center.

Pastor Allen is 45 years old and is a native of Winnsboro, SC. He is a graduate of Holmes Bible College (BS, Christian Ministry) and Southwestern Christian University (MM, Christian Leadership).

Allen is an ordained minister in the South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He served in Pastoral Ministry for 22 years. He has served the following churches: Terry Creek PHC (2001-2004), Life Springs Worship Center (Associate Pastor-Youth/Children; 2004-2008), Johnsonville PHC (2008-2018 and Life Springs Worship Center (2018-2023). On May 20, 2023, at the Quadrennial Conference, Pastor Allen was elected as Discipleship Ministries Director of the SCIPHC.
