Stoneville PH Church is a multi-generational church with a passion for God’s presence.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Lead worship from the piano or keyboard
• Be comfortable leading a worship team and a choir in a Pentecostal worship environment.
• Be open to everything from southern gospel to modern-day worship.
• Weekly duties would include coordinating musicians, cultivating worship sets, and establishing an order of service in correlation with the Senior Pastor.
• This position will provide oversight to all areas related to music ministry and will work closely with (and report directly to) the Senior Pastor.

While we are searching for a candidate who has a call to youth ministry as well as music, we will consider the role of Minister of Music only for the right candidate. A more detailed view of the descriptions of these linked positions will be discussed during an interview.

We are very interested in hiring a part-time youth leader. We are members of the IPHC (iphc.org). We are located outside of Clinton, North Carolina (Goshen New Life PH Church). Before Covid-19, we averaged 80 in attendance on Sunday mornings and 75 on Wednesday nights. Our youth leader after 10 years of faithful ministry resigned during Covid and left a huge hole. Before Covid, we had a total of around 35 youth and children that attended regularly. We now have 15-20, eight to 10 children, and eight to 10 youth (children’s ministry is not their primary responsibility but of course, their ministry will overlap and compliment their children’s ministry on occasions like Christmas, Easter place, etc.) We’re looking for someone who has a passion for youth, a background in Bible, a gift and teaching, and a desire to disciple our youth. With all due respect we are not looking for fluff or babysitting but someone who can and will build relationships and challenge our youth. This would include teaching on Sundays in Sunday school (when we start back) and Wednesday nights for our youth. It would also include regular attendance at worship services, taking our youth to denominational revivals (one in September at falcon and one in Tennessee called accelerant), and of course, being a proactive leader at any and all church functions. There is a yearly youth fundraiser, they would be responsible for taking points and working on this (eggs and bonbons creation and sales). A job description is available. We have others that are currently working with the youth but they are not the point person for the group so this would be a team effort. This is a paid position but will be based on experience and will be considered a part-time salary. The church understands this would be a bi-vocational minister.
